On our way back home after el Mirador de Río, we stopped at Haría, at the north of the island, is called « el Valle de las Mil Palmeras » which means « the valley of a thousands palmtrees ».
The city deserves this name because it is the most « wooded » area of the island ; considering it is quite arid anywhere else. The village is quite pretty and calm, we crossed it twice by car and stopped a little to visit and feel the atmosphere.
We went back to our Airbnb. After visiting the East side of the island, we had planned to go to the West coast the following day, starting by Timanfaya volcanos!
